About Christ Church Cathedral
Christ Church Cathedral in Cincinnati is an Episcopal cathedral serving the city for over 200 years with both a cathedral's reach and a parish's heart. The congregation welcomes all people regardless of background, with a particular commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion and social justice in the community. Services reflect the diversity of the multi-generational community through varied worship styles, from traditional Episcopal liturgy to modern expressions incorporating music and the arts. The cathedral offers children's programming, contemplative prayer spaces including the Sycamore Gardens, and community engagement through music concerts and public art initiatives. Led by The Very Reverend Owen C. Thompson, the first African American Dean of the Cathedral, Christ Church embodies a theology centered on God's love for all people and a commitment to the Episcopal way of radical hospitality.
