About Disciples Christian Church
Disciples Christian Church in Cleveland Heights is a racially diverse, LGBTQ+ welcoming faith community that emphasizes spiritual formation, equity, care for the earth, and the arts. The church sees itself as more than Sunday morning worship, extending its mission through multiple community partnerships housed in its building, including four other faith organizations, the Heights Emergency Food Center, and a Cultural Arts Center. Worship services are held at 10am on Sunday mornings, and the congregation integrates diverse arts into worship through programs like the Living Canvas art initiative. Members and visitors are invited to participate in worship, volunteer with the Cultural Arts Center, engage with community art organizations, or join in spiritual formation in whatever way feels comfortable. The church is committed to following paths of love and justice as taught by Jesus, creating space for inclusion and creative expression across its ministries.
