About Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry
Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM) is a Cleveland-based organization founded in 1969, rooted in the Lutheran faith tradition and the commitment to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly. Inspired by an ecumenical response to urban needs, LMM has spent over five decades addressing chronic homelessness, food insecurity, employment barriers, and supporting vulnerable youth and adults. The organization operates multiple programs including Housing & Shelter, Workforce Development, Youth Resiliency Services, and Guardianship Services, with a focus on challenging injustices faced by those who are oppressed and forgotten. LMM's approach honors the lived experiences of the people it serves and champions for systems change at local, state, and federal levels. Visitors and supporters are invited to learn more about LMM's mission to restore dignity and hope to the community.
