About St Elias Church
St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church in Cleveland, Ohio is a community of supportive and loving believers centered around the Eucharistic Table, rooted in the Maronite Rite tradition that evolved from the Antiochene tradition of Catholicism. The church is dedicated to spiritual growth and living out the faith through discipleship and service, striving to increase active family participation. St. Elias takes its name from the patron saint Elias (the Old Testament prophet Elijah), depicted in the stained glass window behind the altar. As part of the universal Catholic Church in union with Pope Francis, the parish offers weekday and weekend liturgies and welcomes visitors to experience this rich spiritual tradition.
