About St John Cantius Church
St. John Cantius Church is a Roman Catholic parish located in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, serving the community since 1898. The church stands at the corner of College and Professor Avenue and was originally established to serve Polish immigrants who came to work in the industrial flats. Today, the parish welcomes people of all backgrounds into its vibrant, diverse community while continuing to celebrate its rich Polish heritage through events like its annual Polish Festival. The beautifully restored church features a newly renovated Vottler-Holtkamp-Sparling Organ from 1926 and provides a spiritually fulfilling worship experience under the leadership of Father James Roach.
