About Grace: A United Methodist Community
Grace: A United Methodist Community is a diverse, inclusive faith community in the heart of Dayton that has served the neighborhood for more than a century. Rooted in the United Methodist tradition and the principles of loving God, loving neighbor, and living in community, Grace welcomes people of all backgrounds and beliefs, valuing questioning and seeking alongside faith. The church is actively engaged in community ministries including work with neighborhood schools, a vibrant prison ministry, the Dayton Cooks culinary education program, and a weekly prayer team. Led by Rev. John C. Wagner Jr. and supported by a dedicated worship arts director, Grace offers Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. with livestream options and provides a historic facility available for community events. The congregation emphasizes that children and youth are deeply valued and always welcome in worship.
