About St Matthew Lutheran Church
St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, established in 1962 in Huber Heights, Ohio, grew from the merger of thirteen families from Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Dayton and four families from Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fairborn. As a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, St. Matthew has developed into a vibrant community of faith with a mission to grow the Body of Christ through Word and Sacrament. The church welcomes all who wish to participate in its activities and become active members of the congregation. With a rich history spanning over fifty years, St. Matthew has expanded its facilities to include a sanctuary, educational wings, and narthex. The congregation invites visitors to join its Sunday worship and explore opportunities for fellowship and service within the church community.
