About Lutheran Metro Ministry
Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry in Lakewood, Ohio is a community-focused ministry rooted in the Lutheran faith tradition and dedicated to serving those facing injustice, homelessness, and adversity. Founded in 1969 as an ecumenical response to urban challenges, LMM has spent over five decades providing innovative programming in housing and shelter, workforce development, youth resiliency services, and guardianship for vulnerable adults. The ministry is guided by the principle to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly, drawing on the lived experiences of those it serves to champion systemic change and restore dignity and hope to the oppressed and forgotten in the community.
