About St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church
St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a historic parish founded in 1916 by Ukrainian believers and has served the Lakewood community for over a century. Though rooted in the Ukrainian Orthodox tradition, the church welcomes all believers and those seeking to experience the Most Holy Trinity. Services are conducted almost entirely in English, and service books are provided for all worshippers to participate actively in prayer. The parish, led by Father Dennis Kristof since 1988, is deeply invested in the wider Orthodox community of the Greater Cleveland area and continues to serve multiple generations of families within its congregation.
