About Lima Rescue Mission
Lima Rescue Mission is an evangelical Christian organization serving poor and homeless men and at-risk youth in Lima and Allen County, Ohio. Founded 119 years ago, the mission provides comprehensive physical and spiritual care including daily meals, overnight shelter, transitional housing, clothing distribution, and personal care services. The organization operates a robust spiritual program featuring daily chapel services, multiple weekly Bible studies, and individual biblical counseling. Beyond its men's ministry, the mission invests in children facing adversity through after-school activities and Camp Roberts, a summer day camp that combines education, recreation, and biblical teaching. Supported entirely by community donations and staffed by committed volunteers, Lima Rescue Mission works to address homelessness and transform lives through Christ-centered programs and meaningful pastoral engagement.
