Catholic Charities St. Elizabeth Center serves as a compassionate ministry in central Lorain dedicated to assisting individuals experiencing homelessness, hunger, and vulnerability. Operating as a multi-purpose community center, the organization provides daily hot meals, food pantry services with fresh produce, emergency financial assistance, temporary overnight shelter for up to 50 men, rental and utility assistance, and coordinated case management services. Named after Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, whose life exemplified devotion to serving the poor, the center reflects Catholic Charities' commitment to upholding the dignity and respect of every person while meeting basic community needs.
