About Sovereign Christ Church
Sovereign Christ Church is a Reformed, covenantal, and family-integrated congregation in Mansfield, Ohio, that has been gathering for worship since May 2006. Under the pastoral leadership of Clint Zeigler, an ordained elder in the Federation of Reformed Churches, the church emphasizes covenant renewal worship featuring responsive Bible reading, weekly communion, and hearty congregational singing of Psalms and hymns. The church is distinctive in its commitment to family integration, welcoming children to participate fully in worship including communion, rather than separating them into age-specific classes. Sovereign Christ holds to Reformed theology, emphasizing God's sovereignty and predestining plan while affirming His love revealed in Christ, and practices what is known as postmillennial eschatology, believing Christians are called to advance God's kingdom on earth through faithful proclamation and restoration.
