About Genesis
Genesis Church is a non-denominational community in Marion, Ohio that welcomes believers, seekers, and those with genuine questions about faith. Founded in 2010 by Pastors Keith and Kathy Irey, the church has grown from a small group meeting in rented spaces to owning its own building debt-free by 2019. The church emphasizes connecting people to Jesus and their destiny through fellowship, worship, and biblical teaching. Genesis offers dedicated children's ministries for infants through junior high, small groups called Life Groups, and community outreach including a 24-hour food pantry. Services blend live worship music with relevant, inspirational teaching in a welcoming atmosphere designed for first-time visitors and those with no prior church experience.

Dress Code: Come as you are—jeans, shorts, and t-shirts are absolutely welcome, and the pastor typically wears jeans on Sundays. Service Format: Services run about an hour and twenty minutes, beginning with free coffee and snacks in the lobby café, followed by live music and relevant teaching. Visitor Tips: Reserved parking spaces are available near the front entrance, and childcare is provided for newborns through age 12; first-time visitors should plan to arrive in time to grab refreshments before the service begins.
