About St. Paul's United Church of Christ
St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Middletown, Ohio has served its community since 1876, when German immigrant founders established what was originally called St. Paul's German Evangelical Protestant Church. The congregation worships in a beautifully maintained Victorian Gothic sanctuary featuring irreplaceable art glass windows installed in 1920. Led by Rev. Rich Luh, who brings decades of pastoral experience and a commitment to engaging the surrounding community, St. Paul's emphasizes transforming faith into action through worship, fellowship, and extensive mission work. The church welcomes all people regardless of race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, family structure, faith background, ability, or economic circumstance into the full life and ministries of the congregation. St. Paul's is actively preparing to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2026 while maintaining a strong focus on local outreach, including support for homeless services, school supply programs, and assistance with utility bills for those in need.
