About St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church
St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church in Parma, Ohio has served the local community since its dedication in 1967. Founded to serve Ukrainian Catholic immigrants and their descendants, the parish has a rich history of community involvement, evidenced by its support of charitable causes and cultural traditions such as the annual pierogi-making efforts. The church features beautiful liturgical artwork including mosaics created by renowned artisan I.M. Baranski and handcrafted religious furnishings. Under the pastoral leadership of Fr. Ihor Kasiyan, the parish emphasizes active parishioner participation and maintains strong organizational ministries including the Holy Name Society and the League of Ukrainian Catholic Youth. The welcoming community continues to prepare for its 60th anniversary celebration in 2027.
