About The First Church of God
The First Church of God in Ravenna has served the community for over 110 years, beginning in 1913 with two families meeting in a private home. As a congregation affiliated with the Church of God movement centered in Anderson, Indiana, the church is rooted in five core convictions and maintains a Jesus-centered mission to make disciples everywhere and love God and people always. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Tod Huston since 2018, the church offers comprehensive ministries including student and family programs directed by Athena Edwards and worship leadership by Isaac Winland. The congregation gathers for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:45 a.m., with an additional Wednesday evening service at 6:30 p.m. Visitors are welcomed to experience a faith community committed to generosity, service, and strengthening the next generation through Christ-centered teaching and fellowship.
