About Seaman Church of Christ
Seaman Church of Christ is a congregation within the Independent Christian Church/Church of Christ tradition, descending from the 19th century American Restoration Movement. Originally founded in the early 1960s in Tranquility, Ohio, the congregation relocated to Seaman in the fall of 1964, believing they were called to meet the community's spiritual needs. For over fifty years, they have been serving and uplifting the name of Christ in Seaman. The church is non-denominational and elder-led, emphasizing New Testament Christianity, baptism by immersion, weekly observance of the Lord's Supper, and the authority of the Bible in faith and practice. Visitors are welcomed to join their Sunday services, Wednesday Bible studies, and various other ministries, and the congregation would love to pray for those in need.
