About New Hope United Methodist Inc
New Hope United Methodist Church in Sidney, Ohio traces its roots back over 130 years to the German Brethren tradition, evolving through several denominational mergers before becoming part of the United Methodist Church in 1968. The congregation moved to a new facility in 2009-2010, expanding to include modern classrooms, a nursery, and gathering spaces while maintaining its historic foundation. New Hope's mission centers on making disciples of Jesus Christ through five core practices: passionate worship, radical hospitality, intentional faith formation, risk-taking mission, and extravagant generosity. The church welcomes visitors of all backgrounds and emphasizes being inclusive and welcoming to everyone who walks through its doors. Weekly services blend traditional and contemporary music with a focus on biblical proclamation, and the congregation actively serves its community through various ministries and outreach programs.
