About Covenant Presbyterian Church
Covenant Presbyterian Church is a welcoming and inclusive community located in historic downtown Springfield, Ohio, serving the area since the early 1800s. The congregation, formed through the merger of First and Second Presbyterian Churches in 1919, worships in a magnificent Gothic building constructed in 1927. As a mission-driven church, Covenant is deeply engaged with the local community through numerous outreach ministries including food banks, Habitat for Humanity, and literacy programs. The church embraces members from diverse backgrounds and geographies, creating a both/and approach to faith, politics, and social justice. Covenant Presbyterian provides opportunities for spiritual growth across all ages while maintaining a strong commitment to serving neighbors in need and witnessing to Christ through active community involvement.
