About First Lutheran Church
First Lutheran Church in Springfield, Ohio has been serving its community for 175 years as a beacon of Lutheran faith and tradition. The congregation embraces Martin Luther's legacy through their understanding of believers as both saints and sinners living in God's grace. Their worship follows traditional Lutheran liturgy, which they believe connects the heart and mind to the gospel message and links worshippers to the broader church throughout the ages. Sunday morning worship is held at 9:30 AM in the sanctuary, and the church maintains an active community life supported by a monthly newsletter highlighting upcoming events and ministry opportunities. Visitors are welcome to experience this historic congregation's commitment to faith, fellowship, and service rooted in the Reformation tradition.
