About Olivet Lutheran Church
Olivet Lutheran Church in Sylvania, Ohio welcomes visitors with two Sunday worship services—a traditional service at 9:00 AM and a contemporary service at 11:00 AM (condensed to one service at 10:00 AM during June and July). Led by Pastor Melissa Micham, the church emphasizes creating a welcoming community rooted in the love of Jesus, with intentional efforts to greet visitors and help them feel known. The congregation offers diverse ministries including three weekly food assistance programs, small group Bible studies, Sunday school, and community service opportunities. The Welcome Team actively works to enhance hospitality through a coffee bar and refreshments before worship, creating spaces where both longtime members and first-time visitors can connect with one another and experience genuine Christian community.
