About Our Lady Of Lourdes Church
Our Lady of Lourdes is a vibrant Catholic parish in Toledo that has served its community for over 90 years, originally founded in 1927 as a mission church before becoming an independent parish in 1957. Located on Hill Avenue, the church features a beautiful new building while honoring the rich spiritual legacy of its founders, including a spectacular grotto and shrine dedicated to Mary. The parish is known for its diverse, multi-ethnic community that worships together as one family, with a strong commitment to both spiritual formation and active service to those in need. Members engage in various ministries both within the parish walls—including lector, Eucharistic ministry, and choir roles—and in the broader community through the Hospitality Kitchen, which has distributed food for over four decades, and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, which assists those struggling with housing and utilities. Deacon Mark Genovesi serves as the Pastoral Leader, welcoming newcomers as brothers and sisters in Christ.
