About Point Place United Church Of Christ
Point Place United Church of Christ is a small, welcoming community in Toledo, Ohio, rooted in love for one another and centered on encountering God and each other. With a history stretching back to 1917, the church continues to adapt and renew under the guidance of Pastor Rev. Dr. Jon Komperda. The congregation gathers on Sundays in two distinct formats: traditional worship with singing, praying, and teaching in the sanctuary, and Breakfast Church downstairs, which combines meal-sharing with worship and conversation. Beyond Sunday gatherings, the church hosts free community dinners called "Feed My Sheep" on the last two Tuesdays of each month, seasonal study groups including Lent Soup & Study and Porch Sessions, and actively supports local outreach through the Mustard Seed food pantry and clothing closet.
