About Holy Name Catholic Church

Holy Name Catholic Church in Trenton, Ohio has served the local Catholic community since 1871, when it began as a mission parish established by the Franciscans. The parish grew from its humble origins in a parishioner's harness shop to the construction of its first dedicated church building that same year. The current church structure was completed in January 1961, and the parish expanded further with a rectory built in 1970 and a comprehensive parish center added in spring 1993. Today, Holy Name remains an active parish within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, offering weekend and weekday Masses along with religious education programs and opportunities for prayer and adoration. The parish community is supported by engaged ministries and welcomes visitors to experience Catholic worship and fellowship in this historic Trenton congregation.
