About Bolindale Christian Church
Bolindale Christian Church, a Disciples of Christ congregation established in November 1926, has served the Warren, Ohio community for nearly a century from its location on the corner of Fairview Avenue and Center Street. Originally founded through the vision of J.M. VanHorn, the church moved to its present building in 1941 and has since expanded with an educational wing added in 1960. Known as the Friendly Church on the Hill, Bolindale welcomes visitors with the promise that they will only be a stranger once. The church celebrates the gospel of Jesus Christ through Sunday worship and a weekly observance of the Lord's Supper, which is open to all believers as an act of thanksgiving for God's forgiveness and renewal.
