About Seventh-Day Adventist Church
Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Wooster worships on Saturday, with Sabbath School at 10:30 AM and a Worship Service at 11:30 AM. The congregation meets in a traditional Midwest-style church building erected in 1868 and purchased by the Wooster Seventh-day Adventist Congregation in 1962. A notable part of the building is its 1922 Schantz pipe organ, designed and installed by the Schantz Pipe Organ Company of nearby Orrville and described as the oldest pipe organ in Wayne County still retaining its original, non-electronic parts. Neil Jackson plays the organ on the fourth Sabbath of the month. Pastor Jesse Santos serves as district pastor for Wooster and nearby churches. Programs include children’s ministry and small groups.
