About The Voice of the Martyrs
The Voice of the Martyrs is an organization dedicated to serving persecuted Christians in the world's most difficult and dangerous places to follow Christ. Founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand and his wife, Sabina, following their imprisonment for Christian witness in Communist Romania, VOM has grown into a global ministry spanning more than fifty nations. The organization encourages believers to fulfill the Great Commission in areas where Christians face persecution, provides practical relief and spiritual support to families of Christian martyrs, and equips persecuted Christians to share the gospel in their communities. Through prayer guides, magazine subscriptions, Bible distribution, and support for front-line workers, VOM seeks to inspire all believers to deeper commitment to Christ and involvement in his Great Commission, regardless of personal cost.
