About Church Of Christ
The Colcord Church of Christ is located in Colcord, Oklahoma, and has served the community since 1911 when a gospel meeting resulted in the baptism of several local residents. The congregation moved into its own building in 1946 on land donated by James and Nettie Linam, and has since expanded with multiple additions, including a new auditorium and classrooms completed in 2011. With an average Sunday morning attendance of approximately 140, the church maintains a mission to share the message of Christ and demonstrate Christ's love through word and deed. The congregation is actively involved in local evangelism and supports missionary efforts in Latin America, the Philippines, India, Russia, and across the United States. Under the leadership of elders Will Farris, Paul Havenar, Ricky Reed, and Dennis Woodruff, and with minister Michael Ellis, the church provides a welcoming environment for visitors.
