About St. Paul's Lutheran Church
St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Enid, Oklahoma has served its community since its organization on August 17, 1909, under the leadership of Pastor Theo. Iben of Glenella. The congregation initially worshiped in various locations around Enid before constructing its first church building at 14th and East Maine in 1909-1910. In 1926, the church relocated to a new facility at the corner of 17th Street and East Broadway, with the cornerstone laid on March 7, 1926, and the building dedicated on March 27, 1927. St. Paul's Lutheran School was established alongside the new church, opening in September 1926 under the direction of Mr. Aug. W. Lietz. The church remains an active center of worship and community life in Enid.
