About United Methodist Boys Ranch
United Methodist Boys Ranch, now known as Flying M Ranch, is a historical ministry located in Gore, Oklahoma, that has served children and families since its founding in 1963. Originally established by Henry Burrow with a vision to provide boys from broken homes and those facing difficult circumstances with opportunities for growth—mentally, physically, and spiritually—the ranch has evolved significantly over the decades. Today, as part of Circle of Care, a faith-based agency under Methodist oversight, the facility serves foster care sibling homes and remains committed to the organization's core mission of providing Christian help, healing, and hope to children and families in crisis across Oklahoma. The ministry reflects a long legacy of Methodist child welfare work dating back to 1917, embodying values of faith, integrity, and empowerment in service to vulnerable populations.
