About Kickapoo Friends Center
The Kickapoo Friends Center is a Christian ministry serving Native Americans and others in the McLoud, Oklahoma area. Under the leadership of Brad and Christine Wood, the Center provides a worshiping congregation alongside youth and children's ministries, community outreach, family assistance, and vocational training through its Work Training Center. The ministry is affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church Mid-America Yearly Meeting and is deeply committed to bringing the Gospel to Native America while supporting educational initiatives for Native students in local public schools. The Center's greatest desire is for people to experience God through Jesus Christ and develop fruitful, productive lives, welcoming all who seek to join their faith community.
