St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Norman describes itself as a progressive Christian church with an open and affirming welcome for people of all ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, economic brackets, and walks of life. The church has a long history of working for social justice and serving the community. Worship is contemporary and blended, and the church offers children’s and youth programming. BridgeKids, an early childcare program for children ages 1-5, began programming at St. Stephen’s in 2024 and operates Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
