About Rissho Kosei Kai Dharma Center
Rissho Kosei Kai Dharma Center, also known as the Dharma Center of Oklahoma, is a lay Buddhist organization in Oklahoma City devoted to bringing Buddhist practice into everyday life. Its mission is to provide a place for meditation and spiritual growth through the study and practice of Buddhist principles. The center is part of Rissho Kosei Kai, founded in Japan in 1938 by Nikkyo Niwano and Myoko Naganuma, and emphasizes the practice of hoza, the “circle of harmony.” Programs include youth group and small groups, and all content is provided in English.
