About First Baptist Hicks
First Baptist Church of Hicks Addition in Spencer, Oklahoma is a Baptist congregation with a rich history spanning over 75 years of faithful service to the community. Founded in 1950 by a small group of believers who gathered in members' homes before constructing a dedicated building, the church has grown significantly under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Craig A. Finley, who became the ninth pastor in August 2010. The congregation is committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and discipling believers to responsible church membership while ministering to the whole person in the local community. Under Dr. Finley's leadership, the church has experienced remarkable growth and modernization, including the installation of contemporary audio-visual systems, a remodeled sanctuary, and virtual service capabilities to reach both in-person and online worshippers.
