About Christian Church Of Ashland
Christian Church of Ashland has deep roots in Ashland, with the congregation organized on April 19, 1898. Its Sunday School began less than two weeks later with about forty members. In the church’s second year, it received a donated lot at 2nd and B, where a building was completed and dedicated on February 11, 1900. After that building burned on September 11, 1946, the congregation dedicated a new building in 1947. An education wing was added in 1959, marking another step in the church’s long history of teaching and ministry in the community.
