About Newman Center
Newman Center is the Catholic campus ministry at Oregon State University in Corvallis, serving students seeking to encounter Christ, grow in faith, and live out their discipleship. The community gathers for Mass three times weekly and offers formational programs including Alpha, a seven-week exploration course for newcomers, and Venture, specifically designed for incoming Catholic freshmen. The center provides a welcoming space for students to pray, study, and build community while integrating their Catholic faith with college life. Located on Northwest Monroe Avenue, Newman Center operates as a ministry of the archdiocese under the Saint John Society, dedicated to the New Evangelization and forming disciples who can bring Christ's presence into the world.
