About Shepherd Of The Valley Lutheran Church
Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Corvallis has served its community since 1966, when it was established as a new mission and held its first worship service at Wilson School. The congregation now gathers at 2650 NW Highland Drive to worship God and receive His gifts of forgiveness, new life, and eternal salvation through Word and Sacrament. Under the leadership of Pastor Eric Bohlmann, a graduate of Concordia University Irvine's Cross-Cultural Ministry Center, the church emphasizes biblical preaching, traditional hymns, and the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. The congregation values gospel-oriented worship that encourages gratitude for Christ's sacrifice, alongside vibrant community ministries including multi-generational Bible study, a prayer chain, and fellowship time following worship.
