About Contenders Discipleship

Contenders Discipleship is a Church of God congregation in Dallas, Oregon that offers a unique tuition-free biblical education program called the Contenders Discipleship Initiative (CDI). This two-year program, developed in partnership with Village Missions, equips Christians for ministry within their local church and prepares those called to full-time ministry as missionary pastors. The CDI combines rigorous biblical education through six compact courses with mentoring for ministry, delivered both in classroom settings and through self-study options. The church is led by experienced instructors, including founder Ron Sallee and other retired Village Missionaries with decades of pastoral and teaching experience. Visitors and prospective students are welcomed to engage with the church's focus on spiritual maturity, systematic biblical study, and equipping believers for ministry.
