About Pathway Church
Pathway Church is a non-denominational congregation with two locations in the Portland metro area—Gresham and Sandy—that share a unified culture and mission of discipling people to become more like Jesus. Founded in 1989, the church has grown from four families meeting in a living room to a thriving community focused on worship, spiritual growth, and service. Services feature contemporary music, biblical teaching, and a welcoming atmosphere designed to encourage and challenge worshippers. The church emphasizes discipleship across ten spiritual development areas and offers community groups, kids' ministries, and various service opportunities throughout the week. Visitors are invited to experience corporate worship, connect with the community, and explore what it means to follow Jesus in practical, life-changing ways.
First-Time Visitor Info for Pathway Church
Dress Code: Dress comfortably; attendees wear everything from jeans and t-shirts to dresses and collared shirts. Service Format: Services last up to 75 minutes and include contemporary songs, prayer, a biblical sermon, times of response, occasional communion, and a farewell message. Visitor Tips: First-time visitors are encouraged to plan ahead; staff will greet you, show you around, introduce you to people, and help with kids' check-in if needed. Kids are always welcome to stay in the service, and age-appropriate classes are available for babies through 5th grade.
