About Catholic Church-Parish Hall
Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in La Grande, Oregon, is a historic parish founded in 1867 and rooted in Catholic tradition and community service. The current church building was dedicated in 1916 and stands as the spiritual center of a tri-parish community that includes Sacred Heart in Union and St. Mary's in Elgin. Under the pastoral leadership of Fr. Noby Thomas, the parish celebrates the Sacraments, educates in the faith, and extends service to those in need, guided by its mission to live the Gospel and bring the love of Christ to all. The parish offers weekday and weekend Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, and opportunities for reconciliation, alongside ministries for men, young adults, and college-age members.
