Bethel Baptist Church was founded in 1983 under the pastoral leadership of Mike Pass and has been a cornerstone of Salem's faith community for over four decades. Following Pastor Pass's homegoing in 2008, Pastor Brandon Hardy was called to lead the congregation as its second pastor. The church maintains a fundamental, independent, and evangelistic approach to ministry, featuring traditional worship with hymns and King James Version Scripture. Bethel offers a comprehensive array of ministries including Sunday School, main and evening services, mid-week gatherings, youth groups, soul-winning outreach, bus ministry, discipleship classes, and Bible studies for men and women.
