About The River Church
The River Church is an Open Bible congregation in Salem, Oregon, led by Lead Pastors Lew and Lorri Wootan. The church began in 2014 at Cornerstone Open Bible Church in Keizer, then moved to Salem with a desire to reach the city with the message of salvation. Its story includes meeting in a hotel room, moving to a Portland Road storefront, and later relocating across the street to a new building. Weekly services are held on Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Thursday evening, and services are livestreamed on Thursdays and Sundays. The church also offers youth group, small groups, and Celebrate Recovery.
