About Guinston United Presbyterian
Guinston United Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian congregation in Airville, founded in 1754. The Rev. Dr. Daniel R. Moore serves as pastor. The church’s beliefs are rooted in the Bible and expressed through historic Christian confessions, including the Nicene Creed, the Apostles’ Creed, and the Westminster Confession. Worship is traditional, and the congregation offers children’s ministry and youth group, along with weekly Sunday School classes for youth and adults. The current brick church building was completed in 1949, while the stone building from 1773 still stands and is used for worship services intermittently throughout the year.
