Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, located in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, traces its roots to Greek immigrants who arrived at the turn of the twentieth century seeking work at the J&L Steel Mill. The church was formally established in 1918 with the first Divine Liturgy celebrated by Father Constantine Liacopoulos, and a permanent temple was erected on Kiehl Street in 1921. After outgrowing that building, the parish moved to a new church on Davidson Street in 1956, which has since undergone interior and exterior renovations. Today the church serves its community through regular worship services, educational programs including Greek school and Sunday school, and the renowned annual Greek Festival, which celebrates both faith and cultural heritage. The parish maintains active ministries for youth, women, and altar servers, reflecting its commitment to preserving Orthodox Christian tradition and Greek culture across generations.
