About Calvary Baptist Church
Calvary Baptist Church is an American Baptist congregation located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with roots dating back to 1952 when a small group of families gathered to establish a Baptist fellowship in the area. The church moved to its current facilities in 1966 and has since grown into a vibrant community of faith. Calvary is committed to nurturing devoted disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, Christian education, and missional service both locally and globally. The congregation values diversity, care for one another as a family in Christ, and engagement in outreach ministries including community service, mission work, and support for those in need throughout the Lehigh Valley. Visitors are warmly welcomed to participate in worship, fellowship, and the many opportunities for connection and spiritual growth offered throughout the year.
