About Faith Baptist Church
Faith Baptist Church is an independent, Bible-teaching Baptist congregation located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with roots tracing back to 1979 when it began as a weekly Bible study in the home of Pastor Robert Hargrove. Since its official founding in October 1980 and the establishment of its permanent location in 1981, the church has grown to become a multi-racial faith community dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and educating believers in accordance with Scripture. Under the faithful leadership of Pastor Hargrove and Assistant Pastor Jerry Christian, the congregation has weathered challenges including a church split and demographic shifts in the surrounding area, yet continues to grow steadily by God's grace. Faith Baptist Church maintains active missionary support both domestically and internationally, assists a local Spanish-language ministry, and offers online worship services via Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
