About Providence Presbyterian Church
Providence Presbyterian Church in Altoona, Pennsylvania, is the result of a 2007 merger of three historic Presbyterian congregations serving the community since the late 1800s. Located at the corner of Broad Avenue and 24th Street, the church offers summer worship at 9:30 AM and emphasizes biblically-based teaching, joyful worship, and meaningful activities for all ages. The congregation is led by Rev. Dr. Hilary Livingston and features an accomplished music ministry with a pipe organ, adult and bell choirs under the direction of Peggy Horner. Providence serves its community through various ministries and welcomes visitors to join in their faith journey of growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
