About Methodist Church
Bentleyville United Methodist Church, located at 712 Main Street in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, welcomes all visitors with an open invitation to come as you are. The congregation values the core Methodist principles known as B.E.R.T.: the Bible as the foundation of Christian faith, personal experience of Christ, the use of reason to examine faith critically, and the rich traditions of the church established by Jesus Christ. The church celebrates two sacraments—Holy Communion, to which all are invited, and Baptism, open to people of any age. Affiliated with the Western Pennsylvania Conference under Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi, the congregation offers Sunday worship and educational opportunities for members of all ages, including connections to summer camp programs through the conference. Pastor James W. Kimmel leads the church, and visitors are encouraged to contact the church directly to learn more about their community.
