About St Basil's Oca Inc
St. Basil's Orthodox Church in Simpson, Pennsylvania, has served the faithful since 1904 when Russian and Central European immigrants established this vibrant parish community. The church celebrates its rich Orthodox heritage through the Divine Liturgy, with services held on Saturday evenings at 6:00 PM (4:00 PM October through April) and Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM and 9:00 AM respectively, as well as services on the mornings of Great Feasts. The current parish, led by V. Rev. Jason Franchak as Rector, worships in a beautiful building dedicated in 2001 after decades of faithful service in temporary locations. St. Basil's remains an active spiritual home rooted in the Orthodox Church in America tradition, welcoming visitors to experience authentic Byzantine liturgical worship and participate in the parish's strong community life.
