About Catasauqua Presbyterian Church
The Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, founded in 1839 by David Thomas, is the oldest congregation in Catasauqua and stands as a beacon of faith in eastern Pennsylvania along the Lehigh River. The congregation worships in a sanctuary built between 1854 and 1856, enhanced by memorial stained glass windows installed throughout the twentieth century and featuring a historic pipe organ donated in 1868. The church maintains an active Christian Education program and hosts a welcoming fellowship time with coffee hour following Sunday worship. Rooted in a rich heritage of faith and encouraged by the love of Christ, the congregation extends its ministry throughout the community and invites visitors to join them for worship and praise.
